10.06.08The proposal to expand Heathrow opens up a wide and deep agenda that affects global issues like climate change as well as local issues such as noise and local transport. I want to address these issues in a way that enables us to start a dialogue with local communities and identify the areas of agreement and the areas of disagreement in a manner that allows progress to be made that does not put at risk prosperity and employment in the west London and Thames Valley region.
